You can now play your singleplayer Minecraft worlds together with friends by hosting them online using E4MC, a mod included in all Beyond Mines modpacks so far.
What is E4MC?
E4MC is a reverse proxy mod that allows you to temporarily expose your local Minecraft world to the internet. In simple terms, it makes it possible for others to join your singleplayer world as if it were a multiplayer server.
How to Use It:
- Start your singleplayer world
- Use the Open to LAN feature as normal
- An IP address will appear in chat
- Share this IP with your friends, who can connect through the multiplayer menu
Important to Know:
Since your system is hosting the world, it needs more performance than regular singleplayer. The session will also end when you leave the game. This makes it great for casual sessions, but if you want a server that runs 24/7 without relying on your PC, we recommend using a dedicated server from Bisect Hosting.
